The SCTE (Society for Broadband Professionals) will once again be holding its annual Golf Day, organised with Informa, at the Oxfordshire Golf Club (Thame, Oxfordshire) on 18 August 2010. | |||
SCTE Individual Awards 2010 The SCTE (Society for Broadband Professionals) held its prestigious 2010 Individual Achievement Awards at its annual Gala Dinner on Saturday 24 April 2010 at the unique venue of Lincoln's Inn Great Hall in London. The categories awarded this year are for Technician of the Year and Member of the Year. All members of the Society received nomination forms and voting was possible via the website. The shortlist for the first two categories was decided purely by the number of nominations received, with the Executive Committee adjudicating on the final winners |

| Kosovo Broadband Conference and Exhibition report
SCTE is delighted to report an extremely successful fi rst Balkan Broadband conference and exhibition in Kosovo on 12 March 2009. The event attracted 192 registered visitors from 17 countries with 22 international brands represented (from 14 countries) on the exhibition floor. | |||

The dinner was hosted by Bill Olner MP who presented the 2009 Technological Innovation Award to IneoQuest for its “VeriFrameTM” product. | |||

| SCTE 2008 Golf Day - 12th August The SCTE’s Annual Golf Day was combined this year with the Informa (Cable & Satellite Europe) Golf Day in order to get a bigger field together. The De Vere Wokefield Park, near Reading in Berkshire, was booked for Tuesday 12th August 2008 and it turned out to be a great team event. A full report is available here. | |||
| SCTE Riverboat Dinner and Dance - 12 July 2008
SCTE members enjoyed an action-packed networking trip with the SCTE’s Dinner and Dance Riverboat Evening on 12 July 2008. They spent the evening cruising along the River Thames in London, eating and drinking, whilst enjoying live entertainment (a band and dancing) late into the night. A welcome-aboard drink and four-course meal for participants were included. | |||
