SCTE Achievement Award
Nominations are being sought, by the end of January 2009, for the SCTE 2009 Achievement Awards. For 2009, the SCTE is opening up the SCTE Technological Innovation Award for the whole industry, so please e-mail your nomination (a product, system or concept introduced into the market between 1/1/08 and 31/12/08) to president@scte.org.uk. The nomination form can be downloaded here.
Judging will be by an independent panel of industry experts. After the closing date, the five short-listed candidates will be announced in February 2009. The ultimate winner and runner-up will be announced at end of February 2009.
The award will be presented at the SCTE Gala Awards dinner on 28 March 2009 at the Houses of Parliament. The packed schedule will include a tour of both Houses by official Westminster tour guides, a champagne reception in the terrace pavilion overlooking the Thames, a sumptuous 4-course banquet in the Members Dining Room, a souvenir gift for each attendee and the presentation of the Society Awards.
