SCTE honours broadband achievement

The SCTE Gala Awards dinner took place on 28 March 2009 at the Houses of Parliament. The packed schedule included a tour of both Houses by official Westminster tour guides, a champagne reception in the terrace pavilion overlooking the Thames, a sumptuous 4-course banquet in the Members Dining Room, a souvenir gift for each attendee and the presentation of the Society Awards.

Nominations were sought by the end of January 2009, for the SCTE 2009 Achievement Awards. For 2009, the SCTE opened up the SCTE Technological Innovation Award for the whole industry.

Judging was by an independent panel of industry experts. After the closing date, the five short-listed candidates were announced in February 2009. The ultimate winner (IneoQuest) and runner-up was announced at end of February 2009. Read the full press release here.
