SCTE Golf Day
Following the success of last year’s Golf Day, the SCTE invites members, once again, to hone their talents on Thursday 6th August 2009. The day will be held in association with Informa.
The Oxfordshire’s championship golf course and impressive clubhouse will be the host for this year’s SCTE/Informa Golf Day. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is easy to get to (off junction 7 on the M40) on the outskirts of the historic university town of Oxford and within easy reach of London and Heathrow airport.
The Oxfordshire is considered to be one of the most exciting courses in the country - a pristine American-style parkland course that offers the ultimate tactical challenge. With four lakes and 135 bunkers, the course makes full use of the terrain and the natural elements to provide characteristics similar to those of a links course.
Entries are open to teams of four at a cost of £324/€372 per team or £81/€93 per individual.
The package includes
- Tea, coffee and bacon rolls on arrival
- Practice facilities
- 18 holes of golf
- Longest Drive and Nearest Pin Competition
- 3-Course dinner
- A range of Prizes
- 1 Sleeve of golf balls per player
The event results will be published in the next issue of SCTE’s Broadband journal and on the website. If your organisation is not full of golfing talent but you would still like to support this event, various sponsorship packages are available.
