The SCTE Members' Area

Guide to the Members' Area The intention of the Members' Area is to provide SCTE members with information on the activities of the Society. These include lecture meetings, social events and publications. There is also an extensive technical reference section with a mass of cable telecommunications engineering data plus a guide to the standards bodies working in the industry and the standards they promulgate. The SCTE relies on its Patron Members both for financial support and as a source of new technical information for its members. The site lists all the SCTE Patron Members in acknowledgement of their support. Members will also find information on other organisations and events which are likely to be of interest to them. There is a 'Services' section dealing with a number of administrative matters relating to the Society. The 'Archive' section has some of the history of the SCTE since its formation in 1945.
