Three sponsors support SCTE’s Balkan lecture meeting

SCTE is delighted to announce that three sponsors – Nagravision, Alcatel-Lucent and IPKO - are supporting its 2009 Balkan lecture meeting. The first Balkan lecture meeting, in conjunction with the SCTE’s Balkans training partner HMConsult LLC, will take place on 1 October 2009 at Vermicë-Prizren (Kosovo) with a theme of ‘Taming Digital Networks’.

SCTE is a highly regarded and well known broadband training organisation in the Balkans. The SCTE 2009 Balkan Broadband conference was supported and endorsed by the Kosovo Ministry of Telecommunications and attended by the Deputy Minister of Post-Telecommunications.

The SCTE stages lecture meetings four times per year at the IET in London and through its Benelux Group at selected European venues (including IBC this year). Founded in 1945, the SCTE is a Learned Society and non-profit making organisation whose aim is to raise the standard of broadband engineering in the telecommunications industry.
